2 AMPED VOL 2

On 5th December 2025, 2 AMPED VOL 2 took place at ThinkTank in Newcastle. This was the second instalment of 2 AMPED, which is an alternative rap event based in the UK. I was lucky enough to be able to go in as media crew for the event and was able to capture amazing performances from Whyte, Abel Farai, Ayden and Greenboy.
For this event, I used a Panasonic Lumix GH4 with a 12-35mm lens to allow for both wide and narrower angle shots. Because of this, I could get media that contained both the artist and the audience simultaneously, or get a more focused shots on one aspect of the event.
The goal for this project was to gather:
Short form portrait videos (for TikTok, Instagram etc.) for each artist performing.
Landscape videos for a longer video for capturing the atmosphere, showcasing each artist and the audience.
